Cooking the Skillet
- Brown the ground beef in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat until crumbles are fully cooked. Drain fat.
- Add red and green bell pepper slices and onions. Sauté until peppers are softened and slightly caramelized.
- Stir in the tomato sauce and cooked white rice. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until the sauce is thick and vibrant.
- Top with mozzarella and broil for 2 minutes until bubbly with golden-brown scorched spots. Garnish with parsley.
