Prepare the Filling
- In a medium bowl, beat softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Fold in the strawberry preserves and finely diced strawberries until the filling is a uniform pink color.
Assemble the Wontons
- Place 1 teaspoon of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper.
- Wet the edges with water, fold into a triangle, and press firmly to remove air and seal the edges.
Fry and Finish
- Fry wontons in 350°F (175°C) oil for 1-2 minutes until golden brown and blistered.
- Drain on a wire rack, then dust with powdered sugar and drizzle with red strawberry glaze.
Notes
Use a thermometer to ensure oil is exactly 350°F (175°C).
