Prepare the Crust

The Filling

- Sauté sliced onions in bacon fat over medium-low heat for 20-25 minutes until dark brown and sweet.
Assembly & Baking
- Layer caramelized onions, bacon crumbles, and blotted tomatoes in the par-baked crust.
- Mix mayonnaise and cheddar. Spread over the tomatoes. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes until toasted cheese bubbles appear.
