Prepare the Glass
- Rub a lemon wedge around the rim of a chilled martini glass. Dip the edge into a plate of granulated sugar to create a thick white rim.
Mix the Cocktail
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle the 5 raspberries with simple syrup until fully broken down and bright red.
- Add vodka, lemon juice, and triple sec. Fill with ice and shake vigorously for 20 seconds until the shaker is frosted.
- Double strain through a Hawthorne strainer and a fine-mesh sieve into the prepared martini glass to ensure a translucent pink-red liquid.
Garnish
- Gently float a thin lemon slice and two fresh raspberries on the surface of the drink.
