  • 1.5 lbs Chicken Breast Cut into 1.25-inch cubes (680g)
  • 2 cups Fresh Pineapple Chunks with charred edges (330g)
  • 1 large Red Onion Cut into wedges
  • 2 large Green Bell Peppers Cut into 1-inch squares
  • 1/2 cup Honey For the glossy amber glaze (120ml)
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce 60ml
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Ginger Grated
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley Finely chopped for garnish

Equipment

  • 12 Wooden Skewers Soak in water for 30 minutes before use.
  • 1 Outdoor Grill Can substitute with a cast-iron grill pan.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  2. Whisk honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger in a bowl until it forms a translucent, glossy amber glaze.
Assembly & Grilling
  1. Alternating items, thread chicken breast cubes, pineapple chunks, red onion wedges, and green bell pepper squares onto the skewers.
  2. Place skewers on a preheated grill at 400°F (200°C). Brush generously with glaze. Cook for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally.
  3. Remove from heat once chicken has dark grill marks, pineapple is caramelized, and peppers are blistered.
  4. Place on a white ceramic plate and dust with finely chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Soak your wooden skewers to avoid fire hazards.
Use fresh pineapple for better structural integrity on the grill.
