  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 32 slices pepperoni
  • 8 slices mozzarella cheese or 1 cup shredded
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • Marinara sauce, for serving

Equipment

  • 1 Baking Sheet
  • 1 Small Bowl
  • 1 Pastry Brush

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Layer each triangle with one slice of mozzarella cheese and about 4 slices of pepperoni on the wide end.
  4. Starting from the wide end, roll up each triangle tightly.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley.
  6. Brush the garlic butter mixture over each roll and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until deep golden brown.
  8. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

Tip 1: Don't overfill the rolls to ensure they bake evenly and don't leak.
Tip 2: For a spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes with the pepperoni.
Tip 3: Reheat leftovers in an oven or air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes to restore their crispiness.
