Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb Pizza Dough 450g, room temperature
  • 8 oz Whole Milk Mozzarella 225g, hand-shredded or cubed
  • 4 tbsp Unsalted Butter 56g, melted
  • 3 cloves Garlic finely minced
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan Cheese 10g, finely grated
  • 1 tsp Dried Parsley Flakes 1g
  • 1 cup Marinara Sauce 240ml, smooth red sauce for dipping

Equipment

  • 1 Baking Sheet Lined with parchment paper
  • 1 Pastry Brush For applying garlic butter glaze

Method

Preparation and Baking
  1. Divide 1 lb (450g) of pizza dough into 12 equal pieces and roll into balls.
  2. Flatten each ball, place mozzarella in the center, and pinch tightly to seal. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet in a cluster.
  3. Bake at 400°F (204°C) for 12-15 minutes until light golden-brown with tiny browned spots.
  4. Whisk melted butter and minced garlic. Brush the liquid garlic butter glaze over hot rolls. Sprinkle with parmesan and dried parsley flakes immediately.

Notes

Use room temperature dough to prevent shrinking during assembly.
Brush the garlic butter immediately after baking so the flavor absorbs into the crust.
