- Sauté dried chickpeas in olive oil over medium-high heat until blistered and browned, about 4 minutes.
- Add rice and turmeric to the pan. Stir for 2 minutes until rice is toasted and yellow.
- Add broth, bring to a boil, then cover and simmer on low for 15-18 minutes.
- Fluff rice and top with parsley, red onion slivers, chili flakes, lemon, and a drizzle of olive oil.

Rinse your rice thoroughly to ensure it stays fluffy.
