  • 1.5 lbs Chicken Breast 680g, sliced into thin strips
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil 30ml
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano 5ml
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder 5ml
  • 8 count Flour Tortillas Small street taco size
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes 150g, halved
  • 1 cup English Cucumber 150g, diced
  • 0.25 count Red Onion Thinly sliced
  • 0.5 cup Tzatziki Sauce 120ml, creamy white
  • 0.5 cup Feta Cheese 75g, crumbled
  • 0.25 cup Fresh Parsley 15g, finely chopped

  • 1 Cast-Iron Skillet For searing chicken and charring tortillas.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Toss sliced chicken strips with olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Let sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high. Sear chicken strips for 3-4 minutes per side until golden-brown marks appear and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  3. Briefly heat tortillas over an open gas flame or in a dry pan until lightly charred and bubbly.
  4. Fill charred tortillas with chicken, tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion. Drizzle with tzatziki and top with feta and parsley.

Notes

Ensure chicken is sliced uniformly for even cooking.
Pat veggies dry to prevent a soggy taco experience.
