  • 1 lb Salmon Fillet skinless, cut into 1-inch cubes (450g)
  • 1/4 cup Honey 60ml
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce 30ml
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Fresh Ginger grated (5g)
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice 15ml
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil 30ml
  • 1 tsp Toasted White Sesame Seeds for garnish
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Cilantro finely chopped

  • 1 Small mixing bowl

Method
 

Cooking Process
  1. Pat salmon dry and cut into 1-inch cubes. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and lemon juice.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear salmon cubes for 2-3 minutes until charred and crispy.
  4. Flip cubes, add sauce, and cook for 2 more minutes until glaze is thick and bubbly.
  5. Transfer to a bowl and top with toasted sesame seeds and fresh cilantro.

Notes

Ensure the pan is very hot before adding salmon to get those crispy edges.
Patting the fish dry is essential for a good sear.
