  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/2 cup honey raw or clover honey
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce low-sodium preferred
  • 4 cloves garlic freshly minced
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp white sesame seeds toasted
  • 1/4 cup green scallions thinly sliced

  • 10 Wooden Skewers Soak in water for 30 minutes
  • 1 Outdoor Grill or Grill Pan

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Whisk honey, soy sauce, garlic, and sesame oil. Reserve 1/4 cup for glazing. Toss chicken in the rest and marinate for 30 minutes.
  2. Thread chicken cubes onto soaked wooden skewers, leaving small gaps for airflow.
Cooking
  1. Grill skewers over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes per side until charred edges appear.
  2. Brush with reserved honey garlic glaze during the last 2 minutes of grilling until glistening and amber.
  3. Place in a white ceramic bowl and garnish with sesame seeds and green scallions.

Notes

Always soak wooden skewers to prevent burning.
Use chicken thighs instead of breasts for maximum juiciness and flavor.
