Ingredients

Recipe Ingredients
  • 4 cups Corn Kernels Fresh or frozen and thawed
  • 4 tbsp Unsalted Butter 56g
  • 3 tbsp Honey 45ml
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream 120ml
  • 2 tbsp Cream Cheese 28g, softened
  • 1/4 cup Green Scallions Finely sliced
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chili Flakes

Equipment

  • 1 Black Cast Iron Skillet Essential for proper charring.
  • 1 Wooden spoon

Method

Preparation
  1. Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat with a splash of oil. Add corn in an even layer and cook undisturbed for 3-4 minutes until charred edges appear.
  2. Reduce heat to medium. Stir in butter and honey, coating the golden kernels in a glossy glaze.
  3. Add heavy cream and cream cheese. Stir and simmer until the mixture forms a thick ivory cream sauce.
  4. Remove from heat. Top with sliced green scallions and dried red chili flakes before serving.

Notes

Use a heavy skillet to ensure the corn chars without drying out.
If using frozen corn, ensure it is completely dry before adding to the hot pan.
