Ingredients

Slider Components
  • 12 count Hawaiian sweet rolls kept in a single slab
  • 1 lb (450g) smoked deli ham thin-sliced
  • 8 oz (225g) Swiss cheese sliced
  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tbsp (15g) poppy seeds black
  • 1 tbsp (15g) dried minced onions
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp (5ml) Worcestershire sauce

Equipment

  • 1 9x13 inch baking dish
  • 1 Pastry Brush

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom slab in a baking dish and layer with ham and Swiss cheese.
  2. Whisk together melted butter, mustard, Worcestershire, onions, and poppy seeds. Cover the sandwiches with roll tops and brush with glaze. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes, then uncover and bake 5-7 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

Let the sliders rest for 5 minutes before slicing to ensure the glaze sets.
Use a serrated knife for the cleanest cuts through the soft rolls.
