- Pat the jumbo shrimp completely dry with paper towels to ensure a proper sear. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.
- Heat a dark cast iron skillet over medium-high heat with the oil until shimmering.
- Add shrimp in a single layer. Sear for 90 seconds until pink and golden on the bottom. Flip the shrimp.
- Add butter and minced garlic. As the butter melts into a golden-yellow sauce, spoon it over the shrimp for 1 minute until garlic is translucent.
- Remove from heat. Toss in the finely chopped parsley until the shrimp are heavily coated. Serve immediately.
