  • 3 cups shredded chicken breast 450g, cooked and shredded
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup 300ml/10.5oz
  • 1 cup sour cream 245g
  • 4 oz diced green chilies 113g, undrained
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese 226g, freshly shredded
  • 1 large bag Nacho Cheese Doritos 275g, crushed
  • 1 tbsp dried parsley flakes 2g, for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a white 9x13 ceramic baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and green chilies. Fold in the shredded chicken breast until fully coated in the creamy white sauce.
Assembling
  1. Spread the chicken mixture into the bottom of the prepared dish in an even layer.
  2. Top the chicken layer with a generous, even coating of shredded sharp cheddar cheese.
  3. Heavily cover the entire surface with crushed Nacho Cheese Doritos.
Baking
  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the Doritos are slightly browned and toasted.
  2. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with dried parsley flakes. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use freshly shredded cheese for the best melt.
Do not drain the green chilies; the liquid adds vital flavor.
