Preparation
- Remove the silver skin membrane from the back of the ribs using a butter knife and paper towel.
- Mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Rub thoroughly onto both sides of the ribs.
Cooking
- Place ribs in the crockpot meat-side out. Add 1/2 cup water to the bottom. Cover and cook on Low for 7-8 hours or High for 4 hours.
- Remove ribs to a baking sheet. Mix BBQ sauce and vinegar, then brush onto ribs. Broil for 3-5 minutes until caramelized and charred at the edges.
- Sprinkle with finely chopped fresh parsley flakes and serve on a white platter.
Notes
Always remove the membrane for tender ribs.
