  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar 100g
  • 2 Large Eggs Room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla Extract 15ml
  • 1 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour 190g
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • 3 cups Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats 270g
  • 1 1/2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips 255g

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar for 3 minutes until light and fluffy.
  2. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture until just combined.
  4. Gently fold in the rolled oats and semi-sweet chocolate chips by hand.
  5. Cover and refrigerate the dough for 30-60 minutes to ensure thick cookies.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Scoop 3-tbsp balls onto parchment-lined sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown.

Notes

Chill the dough to prevent spreading.
