Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 12 large Fresh Jalapeños Halved and seeded
  • 8 oz (225g) Brie Cheese Sliced into strips
  • 1/2 cup (75g) Fresh Blueberries Whole
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) Honey For drizzling
  • 1 tsp Sea Salt Flakes For finishing
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) Avocado Oil Or other high-heat oil

Equipment

  • 1 Baking Sheet
  • 1 Paring Knife

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Slice jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove seeds. Brush outer skins with oil.
  2. Place jalapeños cut-side down on a baking sheet and roast for 5-7 minutes until slightly blistered.
  3. Flip peppers over. Fill each cavity with a slice of brie cheese and top with 3-4 whole blueberries.
  4. Bake for 8-10 minutes until the brie is melted and gooey and the blueberries have slightly burst.
  5. Remove from oven. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with sea salt flakes while warm.

Notes

Use gloves when handling jalapeños to avoid skin irritation.
Substitute brie with camembert for a bolder flavor.
