Preparation
- Boil the ziti in salted water for 2 minutes less than the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef until it forms small, well-seasoned crumbles. Drain fat.
- Melt butter and sauté garlic. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Whisk in Parmesan until thick and opaque.
- Toss pasta, beef, and sauce together. Pour into a white ceramic casserole dish and top with mozzarella.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes. Broil for 2-3 minutes until circular toasted golden-brown spots appear. Garnish with parsley.
Notes
Use freshly shredded mozzarella for the best melt and golden spots.
