  • 8 oz Refrigerated Crescent Roll Dough 1 tube (225g)
  • 4 large Eggs For scrambling
  • 1 tbsp Whole Milk 15ml
  • 4 slices Sharp Cheddar Cheese Halved (vibrant orange)
  • 4 strips Bacon Cooked crispy and halved
  • 1 tbsp Unsalted Butter 14g
  • 1 large Egg For egg wash

  • 1 Baking Sheet Lined with parchment
  • 1 Non-stick Skillet For eggs and bacon

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet.
  2. Cook bacon until crispy; scramble eggs with milk and butter until soft-set and pale yellow.
Assembly
  1. Unroll dough triangles. Place scrambled eggs, a half-slice of cheddar, and a strip of bacon on the wide end.
  2. Roll from the wide end to the point and place on the baking sheet.
  3. Brush with whisked egg wash for a golden sheen.
Baking
  1. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden-brown and cheese is melted.

Notes

Keep dough cold until assembly for maximum flakiness.
Ensure bacon is fully cooked before adding to the dough.
