  • 1.5 cups Powdered sugar 180g
  • 16 oz Whipped topping 450g, divided
  • 3 tbsp Strawberry gelatin powder For red color and flavor
  • 3 tbsp Blueberry gelatin powder For indigo-blue color and flavor
  • 1/4 cup Star sprinkles Red, white, and blue

Equipment

  • 1 9x13 inch Glass Baking Dish Clear glass is best to show off the layers.
  • 1 Food Processor For crushing the chocolate cookies.
  • 1 Offset spatula Essential for smoothing layers without mixing them.

Method

Prepare the Crust
  1. Pulse chocolate cookies in a food processor until fine crumbs form. Stir in melted butter until the mixture resembles wet sand.
  2. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch glass dish. Freeze for 15 minutes to set.
Layering the Lasagna
  1. Beat softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in 2 cups of whipped topping. Spread half of this mixture over the crust.
  2. Mix half of the remaining white mixture with strawberry gelatin powder until vibrant red. Spread carefully over the white layer.
  3. Mix the remaining white mixture with blueberry gelatin powder until indigo-blue. Spread over the red layer.
  4. Pipe or dollop the remaining plain whipped topping in large swirls over the top. Garnish with star sprinkles.

Notes

Wipe your knife with a warm towel between slices for clean layers.
Ensure cream cheese is fully room temperature to avoid lumps.
